A high-growth media sales business in central London is seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Sales Director to take full ownership of revenue performance across AV, OOH, sponsorship, digital, and direct-to-client channels.
With exclusive rights to premium AV inventory – including a high-impact content platform and a major UK sports broadcaster in thousands of pubs and bars – the business offers a rare and exciting opportunity for a sales leader who thrives on autonomy, momentum, and measurable impact.

This role is ideal for a senior sales leader who loves to build, lead, and deliver. Reporting directly into the Managing Director, the Sales Director will shape and execute the commercial strategy, lead a talented team, and drive growth across every revenue stream.

Key Responsibilities
💼 Revenue Leadership

Full accountability for sales performance across AV, OOH, digital, sponsorship, and DTC

Lead the commercial strategy and execute against aggressive revenue targets

Maintain and deepen relationships with key media agencies

Resolve account-level challenges with strategic, hands-on input

Uncover and capitalise on new revenue opportunities
🤝 Team & Sales Operations

Manage and mentor the commercial team, including Sales Controller and Sales Operations

Oversee team activity, client outreach, and event engagement
-
Ensure the team is supported with high-quality sales materials and tools

Foster a positive, performance-driven, and collaborative culture
📈 Market Development & Partnerships

Re-energise relationships with low-spending or inactive agencies

Build visibility and credibility across agency stakeholders at all levels

Position the business as an innovative, valuable partner in the AV and OOH space
🔎 Forecasting & Commercial Strategy

Deliver reliable revenue forecasts and performance reports

Identify growth gaps and quickly mobilise the team to close them

Collaborate with the MD to shape the long-term commercial roadmap
Candidate Profile
✅ Must-Haves

15+ years’ experience in media sales across AV, sponsorship, digital and/or OOH

Strong reputation and network among senior media agency decision-makers

Demonstrated success leading and scaling high-performing sales teams

Commercially astute, with a track record of delivering significant revenue growth

Hands-on, confident, and solution-focused approach
