The opportunity

Our client is recruiting a senior sales executive that will lead up their sales division for advertising and sponsorship sales. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales executive (or equivalent level) who’s ambition is to become a head of sales. The opportunity will give the candidate valuable experience of having overall responsibility for the sales output, contributing at senior management level, and reporting directly to the CEO.

The role

  • To be responsible for leading the sales function for advertising and sponsorship revenue.
  • To be responsible for delivering agreed revenue streams as defined in the budget.
  • To be a lead point of contact for the business and account manage our client’s top clients.
  • To be well informed about the market.


  • To deliver sales planning and strategy information to the CEO on a monthly basis that outlines the current position of revenues and the forecast for the current financial year.
  • To identify new opportunities and clients across our client’s portfolio of products.
  • To create a pipeline for new business and update the CEO on a regular basis.
  • To maintain and update a list of current clients by revenue & present opportunities for revenue growth.
  • To communicate to senior members of the company the current trading conditions on a regular basis.
  • To act as a business representative at major industry events (internal or external).
  • To maintain close, trusting relationships with all staff and to facilitate open communication within the business.

  • To communicate in a timely and constructive manner.
