The Role

To support the Account Directors by managing internal sales administration to include internal booking systems, programmatic platforms and reporting. In attrition, the role will build and grow agency and client relationships via face-to-face meetings and presentations and input into the sales strategy.

Key Accountabilities

• Work with an account director to identify sales opportunities, build presentations and input to the sales strategy
• To monitor for incoming booking Carias, setting these up in a timely fashion, ensuring requests meet deal parameters, and that any clash codes/restrictions are set up correctly.
• To respond promptly, daily, to booking and turn-around requests from agency buyers and to make Account Directors aware at the earliest opportunities of any problems arising from such requests.


• To work with the account director to deliver updates and results to clients and partners
• To provide Account Directors with weekly outstanding provisional Caria updates.
• To maintain deferred value spreadsheet and to be able to share with the team in sales meetings.
• To agree reconciliation positions on campaign delivery


• Communicate effectively within the team, identifying any day-to-day problems, issues, or other developments, dealing with these or referring them, as appropriate, in order to initiate their resolution or other effective handling.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external personnel in order to contribute to the effective running of the company

Experience Requirements

• Media experience, ideally in the digital and/or programmatic space
• Account management experience
• Sales experience ideal but not essential
• Project management experience
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Able to personally speak with brands and their agencies
• Help to articulate and finesse Media 16’s value proposition so that it resonates with brands and media agencies
• An excellent communicator (written and verbal)
• Well organised
• Able to work collaboratively with the account directors and the support teams within the organisation in order to maximise the potential of the centralised resources available
• Highly numerate, organised and an ability to clearly understand a client brief
• Eventually, be curious to explore beyond traditional media agencies and brand direct conversations, and speak to sport marketing agencies, PR agencies, and creative agencies where appropriate
• Have a strong entrepreneurial spirit
• Take responsibility to manage campaigns and their delivery
