Our client is a national OOH media owner based in the heart of London’s West End, providing integrated advertising solutions for clients and brands looking to engage with their target audience. They are leaders in outdoor advertising and deliver unique, dynamic and innovative OOH solutions driven by business outcomes. Their strategically positioned digital and traditional Out of Home advertising solutions include the UK’s largest external network of full-motion large-format digital screens.

As a company, they have recently rebranded and repositioned the business with a real focus on digital growth, experiential opportunities and more flexible use of data. Huge investment and a rapid transformation to digital means that we will deliver the biggest digital rollout in OOH between now and the end of 2022.

Job Profile

The Account Manager will work within a team responsible for selling products to clients, media agencies and outdoor specialists.
The AM will have responsibility for a roster of clients and agencies within this team and be expected to have full knowledge of all facets of their patch on an ongoing basis.
The AM will be expected to identify and target relevant clients and actively persuade them to advertise using presentations, phone calls and meetings.
The AM will be expected to confidently sell across all levels of the decision-making process, up to and including director level.
The AM will sell across all our products in all our environments and be expected to quickly become an expert on any existing and new formats.
The AM will be expected to share knowledge and experience with the team so to help promote best practice at all times.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced proactive salesperson with a solid advertising sales background. Ideally, they will also have experience selling to Media Agencies, OOH experience is desired but not essential.
Candidates should be revenue-focused; enjoy the satisfaction of generating new business and be able to approach objections and challenges with a creative and open mind.
We are a dynamic team so the ability to share skills, information and when necessary workload, are key.
The AM will be expected to become conversant with all our internal systems in order to effectively manage bookings.
The right candidate will be someone who is lively and brings energy to the team. Self motivated and able to write and action business plans.
The AM will be responsible for ensuring that leads are not only being uncovered but are chased up urgently and intelligently.
The AM should understand the broad agency planning function and where OOH fits within this. It is essential that we are aware of our place in a campaign and what we bring to a plan to best fit the objectives and maximise potential for both the client and us.
The AM should be eager to work in a company where they can make a difference. From their sales figures, sharing their experience and bringing new ideas to a growing company.
