Our client is a leading media owner covering Digital, Print, Events, TV and many more. They are growing at an amazing rate both organically and through acquisitions

The Role

As AD Director you will create, own and deliver on the vision, strategy and execution to drive advertising revenues by an incremental at minimum 10%+ growth YoY (from digital, events, print, CS etc). You will have the support of the UK Commercial Director and the CRO to help you shape this vision and strategy.

You will have responsibility for all digital, print, CS, trading and events and awards revenues, for all brands and audience sales opportunities within the group, and leading and managing colleagues on the sales team.

You will have a small number of your own clients to account manage and in addition to this, you will have an excellent profile in the industry both in advertising agencies and with client companies at a senior level to be able to influence larger-scale deals and commercial partnerships.

You will engage with other teams and internal stakeholders including editors and Brand Directors to ensure your vertical is given the priority it needs to deliver your strategy and revenues.

In conjunction with the UK Commercial Director and or/CEO, set the budgeted annual revenue for vertical/s and produce accurate annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly revenue forecasts that enable the CRO to manage the overall commercial organisation.

Detailed pipeline management to ensure that targets are achieved, flag potential risks and opportunities and work with team and other teams to achieve all budgets.

Requirements

Strong people management skills including development coaching and motivation at individual and team level.

Goal setting to ensure the team hit individual and team targets.

Internal & external stakeholder management.

Excellent client and agency relationships and profile in core sector

Ability to develop client revenues in UK and internationally when required to develop new business.
Ab

ility to have a long term growth vision and to drive a salient robust commercial strategy alongside this.

Excellent trading and creative solutions knowledge and ability in digital, print and events

bility to devise and implement sales tactics to deliver the strategy so as to hit revenue targets by month and by quarter across all budget lines.

The role is office-based 3 days per work from our London HQ with 2 days working from home and offers a competitive base salary, generous commission opportunities plus benefits (see below)
